Terms of Service

1. Scope and Agreement
These Terms govern your use of ID. By using ID, you agree to them. If you use ID on behalf of a company or label, you confirm you have authority to do so.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping credentials confidential
- Ensuring account integrity
- Reporting unauthorized use to support@id.audio
3. Use of ID
ID is for managing, sharing, and listening to (often unreleased) music securely.
You must:
- Upload only authorized content
- Respect confidentiality and access controls
- Share content only with trusted recipients
There is currently a 50-track per-user limit across all clients.
You must not:
- Violate copyright or third-party rights
- Reverse-engineer the software
- Upload malware
- Attempt to bypass security
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content and Rights
You retain all rights to your uploaded content.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
- Store, process, and transmit your content
- Operate the service
- Generate aggregated, anonymized statistics
We do not claim ownership. You must ensure you have rights to everything you upload.
5. Intellectual Property of ID
All non-user content (software, UI, design, branding) belongs to ID or licensors.
You get a limited, revocable license to use ID.
You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or sell parts of ID.
6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
If we offer paid plans:
- Pricing is shown in the app or on the site
- App Store billing is governed by Apple’s terms
- Downloads/monetization features are not yet available on the web
Refunds: contact support@id.audio or use platform refund flows.
7. Third-Party Services and App Stores
ID relies on:
- App store infrastructure
- Cloud/storage providers (e.g. Supabase)
- Logging/analytics infrastructure
Third-party terms may apply.
8. Privacy and Security
Processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
Back up your master files outside of ID; we do not guarantee permanent storage.
9. Beta Features & Service Changes
We may introduce/change/remove features, including beta features.
We may update these Terms. Continued use = acceptance.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
ID is provided “as is.”
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted operation
- Suitability for your workflows
- Accuracy of analytics
Use ID at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are liable only for:
- Intent or gross negligence
- Injury to life, body, or health
For simple negligence, liability is limited to typical foreseeable damages.
We are not liable for:
- Loss of data when backups are missing
- Indirect losses (lost profits, etc.)
Statutory liability (e.g., product liability) remains.
12. Termination
You may stop using ID anytime.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or legal reasons.
We may delete data after termination per the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
German law applies.
If you are a merchant or legal entity, exclusive jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
Consumer protection rules override this for consumers.
